What is it? A boar tooth?
I bought this necklace at a goodwill and don't know too much about zoology or animal teeth. Any clue what it could be and how old you think it is??? Do you think it's an antique tribal necklace or just a recent made on someone made for fun.

Bear claws are not flat though. Plus, they look like teeth, not claws. And these are too big to be on a small animal. Any other suggestions?
Cowboy, I appreciate your advice, but your run on sentence kind of confuses me. Hanging what? I don't mean this to be rude in any way, it's just a little confusing the way you wrote it. Also, we have a stuffed bear hanging on my father-in-law's wall that he caught a few years ago and it looks nothing like it. Does anyone have pics for an example?
It looks like someone made a necklace out of boar's teeth. They especially like to hunt them in the southern US. I doubt if it is a tribal necklace unless it came from Africa. It could be from peccaries and from the Southwest US or Latin America.
