What to get to complete a Pokedex in Diamond?
I am starting a project in which I am trying to complete a Pokedex in Pokemon Diamond. I was wondering which games I should buy to ensure that I will get every single one?
Are Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby and Sapphire enough to catch the first 386 Pokemon? Or will I be needing to get Gold and Silver also?
I do not mean direct transfer from Gold/Silver to Diamond, I'm just asking what is necessary to complete my Diamond Pokedex. Even if it means trading from Gold to Fire Red, and then to Diamond.
I just want to know if FireRed/LeafGreen and Ruby/Sapphire have all the Pokemon from Gold and Silver as well?
FireRed, LeafGreen, Ruby, Sapphire, AND Emerald version are probably the games you will need to complete a Pokedex in Pokemon Diamond AS WELL as Pokemon Pearl, since some Pokemon are not obtainable in Diamond. Getting Gold/Silver version is kind of pointless because Pokemon from those games cannot be transferred into you Pokemon Diamond game or even compatible with the Nintendo DS.
