Wearing a giant ring?
I have this giant crystal cocktail ring and the gem is clear, in the shape of a rectangle. Is this too much to wear as an everyday accessory? I wear it on my middle finger, so it doesn't look like a weird engagement ring or anything.
Opinions?
I work in the jewelry industry and believe, personally, that there are no rules when it comes to style. I absolutely love cocktail rings - in fact they are my personal favorite. I wear them with boots, skinny jeans, and a white tank top during the day and I'm set! At night, all I have to do is layer a few varied length chains around my neck, add a vintage beaded cardigan and I am ready for evening.
While cocktail rings may once have been segregated to cocktail hour, I hardly think that is the case today.
P.S. I wore this one to lunch yesterday completely dressed down and got three compliments.
