Is it worth anything?

i have a little ornament that someone gave me for a carboot sale, with a price tag of £370.00 on the bottom.......
now the chances of me being that lucky to be given something actually worth something are very small, but im still wondering, what if???????? i was given it about 3yrs ago in a box of stuff and dont no who its from, its of a little girl with 3 little dogs in a wheelbarrow, and it hasnt got any names or markes to say who where or when its from? anyone got any idea where i could find out? thanx

Take it to an auction house and ask. If you are very friendly and can flirt a little, you will probably get it done for free. If they want you to sell it because it is worth money, they will still get a percentage of the money paid out.

I would not take it to an antique store dealer, as they have more to gain. They can tell you it is a piece of junk, take it off you for £30, and resell it for £500
