Should I Sell My Creations On Etsy?
I'm a 14 year old girl and I am constantly doing art in some form. Besides Painting, Drawing, and Sculpture, I am really into making jewelry. Mostly necklaces and earrings. I normally use ice resin, found objects, glass beads, and wire wrapping or coiling.
The last time I did a garage sale, I sat there waiting for costumers, I started making earrings, putting them on homemade (yet professional-looking) cards like what you would buy them on at the store. I sold 4 pairs priced at $5 dollars each pair, and I would call that a big success! lol 
If anyone could give me any additional info about Etsy, their fees, and their over all service, that would be great! Any Etsy tips? Im open to anything! Girls: What kinds of jewelry do you like to see on Etsy?

Etsy requires you to be 18 to have an account, unless you have a person 18 or older who is willing to accept all responsibility and oversee the account. That will be the first thing you need to consider before starting an Etsy shop. Also, most of your buyers will want to be able to use Paypal, so you'll need an account there to accept payment that way. Paypal does not allow anyone under the age of 18 to hold an account at all, so your Etsy overseer will need to hold the account and just transfer the money to you at some point. (When you reach 18 you can start your own account and just change which one is linked to Etsy.)
Etsy charges $0.20 for each item you list and that gets you a 4 month listing. You will owe them the $0.20 no matter what - whether it sells the first day, the last day, or not at all. Etsy will send you a bill at the beginning of each month for the fees you have incurred in the previous month. You may pay these fees by credit card (which I believe Etsy requires for you to sign up, though you never have to charge anything to it, so consider this as well before you start) or Paypal. If you sell an item, you will owe them an additional 3.5% of the final item price. You will also owe a fee to Paypal if you've received payment through them.
Make sure you figure out your costs before deciding what to charge, otherwise you might end up without a profit. If you sell a pair of earrings for $5 on Etsy, you'll owe $0.20 for listing, another $0.18 or so for a final fee, maybe $0.47 to Paypal and the rest will be yours, but consider what you've spent on materials.
Etsy is a great website and their service has been awesome anytime I've needed help. The key is to list consistently so that your items are always near the top of the search results, otherwise they'll be buried in page upon page of similar items and nobody will ever see them.
